Messages have always been important in the life of NONPLUS: in the past, our collections were inspired by a motto, and these short slogans often appeared on the clothes in various forms. The little slogans were a nice "plus" gesture that emphasized the interesting, valuable and significant thoughts that we wanted to convey to our customers.
In our private lives and in relation to NONPLUS, we from time to time create our own "omens" - seeking guidance - for which we use the JI-KING fortune-telling book . According to tradition, it originated from a supernatural source with the aim of helping people live and guiding them in their destiny.
" " The I Ching, through the recognition of natural laws, leads its reader to an understanding of the functioning of the universe and thus to correct thinking and harmony with life according to Tao . It provides a system that explains, using symbols, how things happen in the world and in man."
More explanation: here
Carl Gustav Jung says in his beautiful preface to the I Ching: "He who uses this book receives a helping spirit, and the book itself acts like a wise master to whom one can turn for advice."
"There are 64 signs.
64 Divine pattern.
"In these 64 divine "thoughts" the whole of creation is contained."
From time to time, we hide a message from these 64 signs in NONPLUS clothes, one of the signs that is currently important to us, which in 2024/2025 are the following:
"TA CSU - COLLECTION OF GREAT FORCE"
"CHIA ZHEN - THE FAMILY OF HUMANS"

TA CSU - COLLECTION OF GREAT FORCE
"Symbol: A huge Man with outstretched arms - the sign of the "Great" - and fertile, black earth, formed from the accumulated silt of the river.
Creative energies are slowly gathering.
However, it is only possible to use such great forces if the conditions for their application are ripe.
Premature action leads to haste, to the waste of strength. Untamed strength burns. Action must be matured. Just as a pregnant woman is strained by new life, so are the energies that create your future straining within you now.
Patience. Perseverance. Waiting and ripening! The ripe fruit falls by itself.
The road is open before you. A blessed time. If you understand: you can go!
Gathering strength also means not wasting it on unnecessary things. You have to focus on the real task.
"I will erase every careless note from the page of my memory, so that only your command may live, alone!" - shouts Prince Hamlet when he learns from his father's ghost what his fate is.
You do well to step out of your usual environment. Go wider - beyond your previous boundaries. “ The True Man searches for the secret of ancient traditions and translates them into the language of his own time. From there he knows what is a salutary action. ”
Heavenly powers lie within the Mountain - these two kua form the omen.
This is the phase of existence before the great action: to gather, accumulate, concentrate, mature the pent-up power, tame it - and it will burst forth like a spring."

CHIA ZHEN - THE FAMILY OF HUMANS
"Symbol: The sign of Man - and the idyllic image of home: a pig under the roof.
The family is the smallest Unit - and the basis of everything. In ancient China, the "family" was the model of all human existence to such an extent that it was even understood to extend beyond death: the spirit family of those who had passed away remained closely connected with the earthly family.
This omen - in a symbolic sense - speaks of the creation of an intimate and lasting community: this is now the task of destiny. "If you want to improve the world - they said - you must first improve the state; if you want to improve the state, you must first improve the family, and to improve your family, you must first improve yourself!"
This is the first advice of this omen: the forces of your soul are “family members” , live in unity with yourself. He who lives in a bad relationship with himself will also have a bad relationship with others. Everything must start with ourselves. From the inside out: this is the only possible direction for changing our lives and circumstances. That is why the image says: “ The words of the True Man speak the essence, and his essence is faithful and persistent even in change . ”
This is the role of the “Father” in the family. The name of the omen is not just “family” , but “Human Family” , because here we are talking about a community that is not brought together by mere instincts, interests or unconscious feelings, but also by the insightful Reason. Only the human Reason is able to recognize that “ I have a destiny with these! ” That is, in the “family” that is being discussed here, it is not blood and emotional relationships that are decisive, but primarily the “divine order” , which only the conscious Man can create. In this Pattern, the father, the mother and the children of different sexes and ages have just as much place and quality as the Sun, the Moon and the planets in the Solar System.
Not only the Jia Zhen , but all the lines of the fortune teller, from the lowest one to the highest six, correspond to family members; in ancient commentaries they are also referred to as “elder brother and younger sister,” etc. I have not discussed this because the modern reader no longer perceives the social and spiritual forces with which the various family roles are analogous.
The modern family has fallen apart to such an extent that, at best, it is only an emotional or interest community. In recent times, it has become a scene of tragedies, scandals, divorces and torments, rather than the idyllic reflection of the cosmic order that it once represented, and which, of course, can still be found in Chinese families in a “fallen” form. That is why it is important that the Father’s words speak to the point. The father must know what is good and what is bad. He did not receive this knowledge from outside, from social models - because they can be corrupt, false and low-class, as they are today! - but from his own heart, self-esteem and filtered life experience.
“The food from my mother’s hand was sweet / The truth from my father’s mouth was beautiful” - says the poet. This is what is being talked about here. And as for perseverance, it means that true upbringing does not depend on the slapping and caressing tactics of strict punishment and loving indulgence, but above all on example! On the model! We influence our child primarily with our being! With who we are! What we say is not enough. We educate with our whole being.
The Father provides the order of the family. The Mother provides the cohesive force.
" Women's virtue is salvation! " - says the wise man. Every family is held together by mothers - without them the whole thing falls apart. "Family" is the foundation of every community.
Our soul is a “family” in itself; if we close our eyes, we feel the forces and spaces through which we are our own guiding “father” and caring “mother,” and in the congregation of our soul, the desires, feelings, and goals that we must raise in ourselves as good or bad “children.” The inner world of a harmonious person: an “ideal family.”
But in an office, a shop, a farm, a workplace, a workshop, or anywhere where there is still human-like life , the need to become a “family” appears, because the pattern was born with man. (Even today, we instinctively see “Dad” in the leader of state life - this is what dictators shamefully abuse.)
Any community that is not based on the family model is inhuman . Just as a multinational corporation is inhuman - this is what everyone who works for one feels, no matter how much money they make.
Chia Zhen answers your question with the Family pattern. This can be a question about your inner self, or about your family or any situation in which the possibility of harmony can appear, as well as the disruption of the pattern; the realization or destruction of the possibilities of an idyllic human relationship. It shows what the strategy is for the path to harmony - and what the forces are that threaten this harmony."

CHIN - PROGRESS
"Symbol: Birds fly up in the light of the rising sun.
Your Sun rises and everything becomes clear! Qin is a time of progress, of unfolding, of blossoming, of growing up, when things become brighter. You step into the light... everything comes to "light."
A time of prosperity and well-being. In the bright sunlight, you gain strength and become stronger yourself. Absorb spiritual powers - and give of yourself to others. What you experience with your eyes closed when the bright sunlight shines on your face: this is the experience of " qin " ! Desires, obsessions, everyday goals are not important at this time: you feel that life is good, the earth is good, the sky is good... Everything is good.
This is the state of inspiration. At such times you feel more. What was difficult before is now easy, what was unclear before is now clear. “Let there be light!” - this is our main wish. Of course, at such times everything will be visible: not only the beautiful, but also the ugly! Your mistakes, weaknesses, hidden sins will appear..., but it's okay, at least now you see and know that the Light is stronger than the darkness , and you can work on yourself enthusiastically. The Sun that shines at such times: is within you! You have been covered by the “outer darkness” : the opinions of others, their stupidity, their malice, the blindness and wickedness of our time; since you have been alive, this world has been working to make you forget: God dwells within you!
Now it flashes. The light shines from you. I could also say: through you - because at this time the help of the invisible world also shines through your life. Now you not only see, but you also "shine" . Therefore, you are seen better. You are appreciated better. And valued.
"Progress. The prince who trusts in his strength (kang) is presented with countless horses. Even three times (many times) in a single day." " kang " also means: "calm, firm, peaceful, cheerful, joyful" . It is all, together. He who trusts in his strength is one who is with the whole ! With God, with the Tao, with the visible and invisible world! Such a man is invincible."

JI - CULTIVATION
"Symbol: A vessel overflowing with material and spiritual goods.
A time of growth, unfoldment, development, fertility and enrichment. The previous sign was Decline - this is now a time of Increase. After ebb, the tide.
“Increase. Blessed is the goal you pursue. Blessed is the crossing of the Great Water now.” Behind this sign is the harmony of forces that help and enhance each other. You experience this as an era of coming true. You have been waiting for a long time - now it arrives. What starts now will get a good wind and will go far. This is the joint work of the Wind and the Exciter (Thunder). In this sign, problems can be solved, relationships and plans can flourish. Take advantage of the good wind!
Have a clear plan, a destination, and put all your strength into your endeavors. Now you may realize how much strength you have! (This is a sign of healing and strengthening, the enrichment of external and internal life energies.) Your personality will also be enriched.
A person gets to know themselves much better in their "cool" and successful periods than in their unsuccessful ones, because at that time the good and bad qualities that were hidden until then come to the surface. Those who had a hidden desire for power become stupid with power at this time, and the egoist, if the cards are well turned, will tend to attribute all their successes to themselves. In success, every person is exposed - in the best case, even to themselves.
It is a cliché that “power makes everyone stupid.” This is also true of other temptations: in times of good fortune, the ego also swells, and tends to attribute all its successes to its own magical power. That is why the Wise One says: “ In times of prosperity, the True Man, if he sees good, follows it; if he sees fault, he abandons it. ”
The ultimate solution to this prophecy is what Jesus says: “A man can receive nothing unless it has been given him from heaven!” You can distinguish a good life plan from a bad plan by the fact that the “good” one is also beneficial for others - the “bad” one can only benefit you. “Crossing the Great Water” means that although you do not know what awaits you on the other side, nor how dangerous the path is, you must go ahead with courage! The Master knows what awaits you on the other side. But He does not tell you. You need the courage and self-forgetful boldness that you can only acquire by jumping into the unknown.
For now, you have only one support: your faith. Believe in yourself and your Master! In an everyday sense, the omen encourages you to take action. Get started and do it!"

TUNG ZHEN - HUMAN COMMUNITY
"Symbol: A mouth in a house, under a roof. This is a sign of wordless agreement. And the image of "man". In Hungarian we speak of the "number of souls" of a village - in Chinese, the number of "mouths". Hence the idea of community.
This is the time for "with others", "together". The task of destiny is shared, and for this we must create unity, community.
“Human community in the open air: success.
Safely crossing the Great Water.
Blessed is the perseverance of the Righteous Man. ”
There are many kinds of human communities: people, family, joint venture, army, party, religion, city, association , etc. But whatever kind of “unity” is created in “diversity,” the ancient teaching says: the foundation of every true community is communion with God.
If we do not have a common point of alignment above, we cannot permanently agree with each other below, “horizontally”. The animal herd is held together by instinct, but the community of people is held together only by the Spirit - and if this is not there, then the whole thing falls apart by itself, ravaged by unbridled selfishness. It is no coincidence that a common faith is the strongest unifying force. Peoples are born with their world of beliefs. And if the power of their world of beliefs weakens, and they lose contact with their god, the community dries up, degenerates, falls, and finally disappears from history. Interest relationships are perishable and short-lived.
This sign tells you that you have to solve your destiny task together with others! (A common life goal.) Perhaps others feel this too. You have to come together. Harmoniously. If you succeed, your strength will be combined, and even your most daring undertaking will be successful.
The first secret to creating harmony: you have to feel it, you have to recognize what you have in common. What is similar or the same , spiritually or ideologically related. This will be the point where you resonate with each other, where you multiply each other's strength, and this will be the point where you can escape back to in case of disharmony or the beginning of discord, like a safe island in a storm: in every true community there is a solid center, a miracle tree , which if we touch, our hatred dissipates, our selfishness is tamed, and the peace of "together" returns again. This is the Love point. There is always something in the other person that is lovable , and if we find it again, like a magnet, it will pull us together from the discord, and unity can be re-established. In essence, every true community has a foundation of love - even in a good band, the musicians must love each other, at least as long as they play. They may hate each other after a concert - but as long as they are "in" the music, and the music is in them... they should be together, like lovers. They love the Music - in each other too. The common "god" of a good band is music, if the musician creates a community with it, he will also be in harmony with his fellow musicians.
“When two or three are gathered together in my name, I am with you!” This is the mystical, Christic meaning of this sign. If there is no common spirituality, there is no true community.
The other secret is: “Burns with Fire: this is the image of human community. The True Man classifies peoples and distinguishes beings according to their nature.” In other words, the other secret of Unity: Diversity . Not to knead everyone into a common mass (as communism imagined), but to preserve everyone’s own face, dignity, character, ability, beauty, unique, special talent. No two leaves on a tree are the same, yet - and that is precisely why! - it grows big. Where we are the same, we will be strong; where we are diverse, we will be rich. This is even typical of a good football team: there is a common team spirit, a common goal, a belief in “everyone for everyone” - and along with that, eleven people with completely different characters and abilities , who in other areas of life might not even be able to understand each other.
The psychological goal: to create our inner unity. In this sign, people are more irritable, more passionate, more hysterical. Only the light of self-knowledge can organize the many Yang forces. Nothing “instinctively”, everything “consciously”! The forces of the soul are united by the recognized life goals. Whoever has no goal: falls apart. But everyone always has a life goal: at most, they are not aware of it.

VU VANG - SPONTANEOUS ACTION
"Image: "Vang" means "liar", "false", "self-involved", "foolish", "desirous", "deceitful", "restless". The image of Vang depicts a woman who has set out after some kind of seduction. "Vu" means "without" all these.
Just follow your true, inner voice! To do this, you need to get rid of everything that is the work of your anxious ego: your fears, your prejudices, your inhibitions, the bad habits of your past, and the constant longing for what the future will bring. Don't look to the future! Live here and now!
The omen indicates a dynamic situation when one must follow one's spirit. (Below is the Thunder - above is the Will of Heaven.) The omen's command is: free yourself from the reign of terror of your ego! Act freely, selflessly! We call such action "spontaneous". But unfortunately, this is misunderstood. When someone is freed from the control of the ego, their actions can be as animalistic and instinctive as they are free and spiritual. The inspired artist and the brave samurai act just as "egolessly" as the self- forgotten person who follows his animal aggression or flees "headlong". However, freedom is only upward! This omen suggests that you follow your spirit. However, to do this, you must regain your natural childlike state, free from judgments and inhibitions, the openness that you have lost. Live in the present! Here and now! Don't wait for the future, don't let the past oppress you: trust in God's will!
For Christians, this is the moment when you don't have to ponder, because the "Holy Spirit will tell you what to say and do!" You don't have to formulate, plan, and especially worry. Let yourself go, and you will realize that you shouldn't be forever stirring, driving, bustling, striving: the drift of fate drives, and the good wind blows. If you can keep yourself in this state: you will have "sublime success." But only if you don't wait! If you continue to turn the anxious-desiring prayer mill of your mind, you will be unlucky!
A person does the most for his future when he doesn't even think about it - when he experiences the present moment as the Whole! Your future will be composed of these present moments resolved with complete devotion - almost by itself. If you look ahead, you steal your attention and strength from the present: you sow carelessly, and therefore your harvest will be pitiful. He who selfishly looks back and forth, worries and hopes, who follows his ego, - according to Confucius - "lacks the will and blessing of Heaven in his actions". You must get rid of everything that is not your true spiritual goal. You must get rid of bad habits, ambition, ego spasms - you must find the voice of your true being."

TA CSUANG - GREAT POWER
"Symbol: Great Man - and weapon and a strong servant. This later became the sign of the intellectual caste.
Power is gathering. It can be life force, spiritual force, intellectual force..., in any case, an inner force that acts and inspires, and leads to greater and greater power. "The Great Power of Influence is a favorable omen." "The true nature of man," says the wise man, "is divine and strong. What is weak in him is wrong desire and wrong thought." Whether you are aware of it or not, your power is rapidly gathering, and it radiates from you. Your surroundings feel it too. Be careful, because you affect everyone, and if you are not aware of this, you will not realize that what you experience is what you cause in people. If you are cheerful, they will be cheerful; if you are anxious, they will be anxious..., if you are nervous, everyone around you will be restless and agitated - because your influence is strong.
Your creative forces are gathering and striving for realization - it's time for action! - the only problem is that the accumulating energies are not in balance . There is a lot of Yang and a little Yin - and therefore there is a danger that you will abuse your power . Several lines with the symbol of the erupting goat warn that the accumulating forces, if not controlled by prudence, calmness and humility, can cause serious damage. We all abuse our power. This is our Original Sin. One of the most common human sins is when we oppress and exploit others. When we are not strong, but violent! The violent person destroys not only the lives of others, but ultimately his own life as well: He rules by oppressing the other, and both of them get sick.
There is no “victorious” oppressor! The other - also common, but hidden - sin is when we do not recognize our own strength. Whoever does not know that he creates with every thought, and deludes himself that he is weak and vulnerable, sins against himself because he forgets his divine origin. Your plans will come true. External and internal forces help him. To do this, you need to know that: “ The True Man does not take a path that does not correspond to tradition.” This tradition says: Power: service! The stronger you are, the more power you have, the more responsible you are for others. And the one who is at the top has no “self” - he serves with every action and thought - he even takes his breath for others. (Think of the power of Jesus!) The one who serves himself is violent - and this is where the greatest failure can occur. The sign is encouraging, and at the same time a warning: the driver of a racing car with several hundred horsepower has increased responsibility.

CSI CSI - AFTER COMPLETION (CROSSING)
"Symbol: Crossing the river - and next to it the image of "finishing": someone is just finishing their meal.
What we once started has arrived.
What we strived for has come to pass... or is "coming to pass." Everything runs its own struggling circle, and finally reaches somewhere: this is what it has become! It has come out of the mold... like it or not: this is what it has become. The circle - seemingly - closes. It "comes to pass."
At such times, our creative forces are briefly balanced: Fire and Water do not fight, but help each other.
Something we have worked hard to create now becomes visible: it comes into being.
A relationship, a love, a revolution, a social transformation, a job we once started, a house we built... anything that has been taking shape, formed, is now coming to fruition.
That's when trouble comes!
After the clean revolution comes the corrupt world, the happy marriage begins the path of boredom and ruin; chaos and disharmony move into our new house.
There is no more fragile equilibrium than the momentary state of “fulfillment.” As soon as it is created, it begins to rot; there lurks around it disintegration, disarray, “entropy.”
As Chinese sages say, nothing can be finished, because life is infinite.
You can run one circle at a time, but it never ends, because it 's not really a circle, but a spiral: the next one starts. The endless vortex chain continues.
What should we do if we have completed a karmic circle, good or bad?
This is what Csi Csi advises.
“After the end (crossing). Success is in the small. Auspicious omen. The beginning (new step) is beneficial! The end: chaotic.”
And the wise man adds:
"A True Man thinks about trouble, prepares for it, and protects himself from it."
What does this mean?
First of all, he's still trying to improve the situation. He can't do much: the deed has already come out of its mold, he can still correct it here and there with a little work, but not much.
This can delay the process of decay, but it cannot stop it. It is more important to start anew!
This grows organically out of the previous one, yet it is new.
Let me give you a vivid example. Let's say you physically desire someone. They will be yours. The peak of the embrace, the " Csi Csi " state: "Completion."
If the other is no longer needed, the unity experienced in orgasm falls back into the loneliness of separate existence.
However, if, after satisfaction , a deeper spiritual attraction begins, the relationship lasts longer, a "new circle" begins, and it first turns into love and perhaps marriage.
Marriage is another “Chi Chi” state: “Completion.”
If a "new circle" does not begin after this, and love does not become a deeper community of destiny - for example, the two people do not initiate the new roles of "mother" and "father" - the marriage will fall into chaos and fall apart.
The community of destiny (love) is another “ Csi Csi ” state: “Completion”.
But when the children grow up and the two old men remain, the task is once again: will something new begin, the mystical secret of the great silver and golden wedding relationships that remain together until death - or will they fall back into loneliness and become two joyless old men who hurt and gnaw at each other.
At the end of every cycle of life, a new one must begin!
Nature works this way too: the plant has not yet fully developed, but it is already ripening the seeds of new life within itself!
This is a great secret. To preserve and renew, and to preserve with innovation. Nothing in this process is ever “finished.”
(If you follow the example above: beneath the happiness of old age, there is the annual ring of all the fulfilled experiences of happy parents, married couples, and lovers!)
Polish it, refine it, "perfect it"... And what will be new?"

CHUN - INITIAL DIFFICULTIES (GERMINATION)
"Symbol: A tender blade of grass struggles to emerge from the ground.
Every beginning is difficult. Germination, sprouting, birth, the beginning of a new plan or a new form of existence is very difficult. This is also the most difficult moment of creation: to form order out of chaos, harmony out of confusion, and living beings out of thought.
Something is starting now.
The wise see this as encouraging, and they recite the magic formula for this omen: yuan, heng, li, chen!
Here it means that after germination, growth, and flowering, the sweet fruit of your efforts will ripen. It also means that this process will be long, because it will go through all four phases. It also says that this is a test. And especially that when you start something, remember what children once wrote on the first page of their new notebook: “I begin in the name of God.”
Every good deed is born of sacrifice.
The beginning is difficult because you have to overcome great resistance. Think of the drama of the heavy, hard, dense earth and the young little shoot.
Not only is he weak and inexperienced, he gains his strength through bitter struggles.
Those who live upwards are strengthened by troubles, problems, difficulties, and struggles. Those who live downwards are weakened and crushed by the same things.
Live upwards!
Think of a baby learning to walk: he falls a thousand times, hits himself, but gets up again and again, and in the end he can walk!
The fortune teller advises: don't worry about your distant goals, but rather deal with your present.
And ask for experienced helpers who are already familiar with the challenging process of "germination"! Listen to good advice and accept help!
The omen is encouraging. A beneficial outcome will only be missed if you are frightened by difficulties, if you consider yourself weak in a self-pitying way, and especially if you are scattered and give yourself over to confusion.
The True Man creates order. He stands on the solid foundation of tradition - which means he has unwavering faith. ("Unwavering" means "he believes in Order".)
The related Chinese image (the Lun ) shows the Great Man spinning many threads into yarn. Order here also means: the many small ones coming together into one large unit. As in cellular growth. Here too, the important thing is the gathering, the many small struggles of the quantitative process, which give birth to a new quality into the world."

CHIAN - HUMILITY
"Symbol: A mouth - and a hand that unites and separates grains of grain, equally. Its meaning: a person weighs his inner things justly, and this is manifested in his "outer" life. "The mouth speaks from a pure heart. I show myself as I truly am.
The name “ Jian ” is similar only in sound to the 1st sign, the Creator. Here it means modest, humble, selfless, respectful, courteous.
Your task now is to become selfless.
Whatever you asked, you can solve it with humility.
People today don't understand this, and in fact, they didn't really understand it long ago.
“Are you going to wash my feet?” the shocked Peter asked Jesus. And then he even shouted: “Never!” And Jesus answered him: “What I am doing you do not understand now, but you will understand later.”
Peter took the model of Greatness from the puffed-up ego. He thought that the Master, the High Priest, the God was "above," and like an earthly Emperor, he shone in unapproachable splendor. He could not even imagine that the real King would kneel before him, wash his dusty feet, and wipe them with the hem of his own garment.
He did not understand that “he who is greatest among you must become like the least.”
This idea is not only foreign to us, but we also consider it shameless hypocrisy.
What we don't know about true humility is this.
Selflessness (humility) is a magical act. To the extent that someone eliminates the rule of ego within themselves, to that extent the hidden atomic power of their soul begins to radiate, transforming a lonely little person into a divine being of cosmic power, living with the power of the Whole and shining with its light.
If Jesus had been even a little arrogant, he would not have been able to radically change the course of human history - and no one would be talking about him today.
"He who humbles himself will be exalted" - this is the basic teaching of Christianity, Taoism, and the I Ching itself.
In martial arts, a selfless person is literally invincible!
Not only because he sees clearly and is guided by his intuition, but also because he is powered by the atomic energy of the Universe instead of his “own battery.” What you see today: false modesty, humility, hypocrisy.
The cunning play of the puffed-up, vain, and power-hungry ego, who deceives not only the world but also himself, because he wants to collect not only money, power, success, and recognition - but also the divine glory that belongs to saints and "good people." While pocketing his vast wealth, he tells you: poverty is a virtue! While stepping on your head, he proclaims that you should just remain humble.
Unbridled selfishness often appears in the guise of modesty (Pharisaism).
The sign of Qian is about true selflessness!
Here, people are precisely aware of their own values!
Christ - while washing Peter's dusty feet - knew, and even said, that he was the Son of God, and that the greatest glory awaited him!
What distinguishes the modest from the pseudo-modest is authentic self-knowledge: a modest artist, if he is dedicated, dares to declare that his works have written into the history of human culture, that "I will teach all my people." - Although, I must add, someone who is truly modest does not consider it important that his name survives.
The omen advises: stay down and you will rise!
When you are up, don't celebrate yourself, always step back and down - when you are down, see deep meaning in service.
Know and appreciate your own values - do not be a servile person or an unfair judge of yourself! - and do not expect recognition from anyone. If you do receive it: thank them and that's it!
"I do not receive glory from men." For they cannot give what they do not have. All praise is empty. Unless it comes from God - and this praise comes from within.
The greatest things are born below, in silence, in the depths, in wordless, humble devotion. Humility is the mother of the greatest achievements.
Many famous and over-celebrated, fashionable "world stars" have reported that they owe their values to a modest and hardworking period in their lives. Their success ripened in the womb - and if they are not careful, if they are blinded by the light of success and lose their modesty, they will be ruined both spiritually and artistically.
"This is not a moral issue, but the fateful workings of the dynamics of existence. In the East it is called karma ."

HENG - ENDURANCE (DURABILITY)
"Symbol: A heart and a boat between two shores. Life's journey."
"Good and bad can come, if we row in the same boat with one heart!" This Chinese saying probably originated from the character " Heng ".
Whatever happens, stay on course! Don't deviate, at any cost. Not tomorrow, not the day after tomorrow - hold on, for a very long time. This is the path of your destiny.
The "Book of Changes" teaches that everything changes, and indeed there is nothing but eternal Change - this sign speaks of permanence, of durability; that the Heart - the center - must not change.
“ Heng ” is the sign of an ideal marriage.
I have lived in it for almost half a century. I have been a teenager in love, a troubled man, a father, now a grandfather - every cell of my being, my brain, my circumstances, my friends, my home, my country and the history of humanity, even the climate has changed; my wife and I have changed too, but our marriage has not changed, because it was made in "Heaven".
The secret of durability is that while everything dies, it is constantly reborn. If loyalty does not change, if the "heart" remains, then the alternation of "passing away-birth" takes on meaning and direction.
The center does not change.
The message of the omen: you are on the right track, stay on it, stay on course!
The wise say:
"Success. Persistence is desirable. Knowing where one is going is desirable."
The True Man in this sign does not allow himself to be affected by the temptations of change. He is like a good captain: he is not affected by storms or waves, he does not lose his vigilance even in calm weather, the shores that slip by do not attract him - only the Goal!
"You can only do this if you are in unity with yourself, if you are convinced that the Path you are on is leading you in the right direction."

KUAN - CLEAR VISION (ATTENTION)
"Symbol: A bird looking from a "bird's eye view" - the ancient symbol of Vision"
Before you act, you need to see exactly what you are doing and why.
Your task: see clearly, impersonally, without prejudice.
See yourself, others, and the course of your destiny as it truly is - see it as if you were seeing it through God's eyes.
We always look through some kind of “glasses”.
Through the "lens" of our selfishness, desires, hopes, fears, inhibitions, expectations, subjective prejudices, but especially our lies and self-deceptions.
Now you must get rid of all this. Before you take a single step, see the Reality!
See what this is all really like!
Who are you? Who are you talking to? What is this story about? What do you really want and why?!
Which is your true path, and which is the false one? Look at everything as if you are seeing it for the first time!
This is how you can free yourself from what is no longer worthy of you, what you have outgrown - this is how you can embark on a new path, on which your awareness, not your delusion, will guide you.
This path is called Fate.
Before you take a single step, you need to see the true perspective.
You don't see it yet - the omen warns - but it's time for you to finally see it!
"Clairvoyance. Wash your hands before you make a sacrifice! Those who walk on the true path (the path of the holy spirits) are looked upon with respect."
To "see" the everyday message of the omen, you need to understand its spiritual meaning.
The Taoist Temple is called: “TAO KUAN.”
Meaning: “Place where I observe the Tao.”
The secret of Taoist meditation is nothing but ATTENTION.
I watch my breath. I watch the flow of energies. I watch my thoughts. I watch my soul. I watch my life.
The reincarnation of Buddha (Avalokitesvara) was called: KWAN YIN. It means: “HE WHO LISTENS TO THE VOICE.”
"Meditation," he taught, "is nothing more than listening to the external and internal sound."
The monks would beat a wooden fish rhythmically while chanting and reading sacred texts.
The fish's eyes are always open! It always SEES - this is a symbol of alertness.
And now comes the everyday meaning of the omen: clairvoyance means that you are not involved in the world. You do not identify with anything: you just see. You look at it as if you were looking at a landscape from above, as if it were a map of your journey. You see where the paths are, where the obstacles are, you recognize the hidden connections of your destiny, and from now on you will never say: “Forgive me, Lord, I did not know what I was doing!”
A clairvoyant person is not only on the right path, but also has a mysterious effect on his surroundings.
He looks “from within,” and this gaze is not only pure but also extremely powerful. It is not weakened by any selfish emotion or thought.
It looks at anyone: it sees their weaknesses too. There is no hiding from it. This is the power of a fearless, penetrating gaze.
And this sentence already leads us to the martial arts: the first step on the path to victory: to know my opponent and his strategy.
And of course, myself: a good warrior sees his own faults and virtues without any veiling. In whatever dangerous situation he finds himself, he is constantly in a state of attention. A good warrior sees clearly both when he attacks and when he is attacked.
The answer to your question is: look closely! It's as if it's not even about you. It's as if it's all happening to someone else.
That's all your task. You can move on! This omen encourages you to do so..., maybe because it "sees" that you don't see well! And you don't even know it, you don't see clearly."

CHIEN - GRADUAL DEVELOPMENT
"Symbol: Water and cutting. This is the symbol of the Qian River: its source was in the Zhou Kingdom, in the mountains of Central China, it cut through vast areas, it swelled and widened, and finally flowed into the sea.
The answer to your question is: “It is progressing, but much more slowly than you would like!” Two natural analogies will help you experience your situation.
One is that as a thin stream begins, it meanders, swells, trickles here and there, gathers other waters, then spreads out and becomes a huge, flowing river.
The other, the simile of the two kua: a Tree grows on top of the Mountain.
How much time it takes! Moreover, the external eye sees only its leaves, not its roots! Yet this is what makes the tree big and strong; that it grows deeper and deeper into the dense, dark layers of the earth!
What you see grows from within and below.
What helps the process of growth is inner strength. The certainty: “It will be as I dreamed!” Growing tall is only possible on unshakable foundations.
The other important thing: external adaptability. What does this mean? Always following the path of least resistance. To hide everywhere, to find a grip, flexible, tenacious - constantly adapting to external opportunities.
Growth is a struggle - but the goal is not to conquer the outside world, but to Fulfill yourself!
The obstacle to growth: impatience.
Over time, the root system will also crack the rock, drilling its soft fibers into the hard stones, but if this If you rush a slow fight, nothing will come of it.
This is about cellular growth. Step by step. Gradually.
There are days when nothing happens. There are days when everything seems to be going backwards; sometimes the situation seems completely hopeless.
In this omen, you learn that your destiny does not proceed in a straight line, but in zigzags. Where every "zig" and every "zag" is not a dead end, but an unavoidable stage of maturation! At such times, you lose your faith. You keep running. Someone shouts inside you: "Nothing will come of this! Let's keep going, we must not get stuck here!" And in retrospect it turns out: what you thought was a side track was a decisive stage in your progress!
Nietzsche said: “To want = to want a will for a long time.”
The deeper meaning of the Qian fortune-telling sees the development of your own being and the being of others here: "The True Man firmly guards his moral and spiritual strength to develop the common man."
Whatever you asked, the answer lies not only in the possibility of distant fulfillment, but also in the fact that you have to rise to the task.
"You're too immature to get it right now."

LÜ - TRAVELER
"Symbol: People gathered around a flag.
Your temporary situation is similar to that of a traveler, a guest. You are not at home, but in a foreign land, far from your roots. You can only count on success in small and insignificant things - nothing here is yours and will never be "permanent".
Jesus says, “Be passersby!”
He means this for all of earthly life: experience that you are here, but do not consider yourself condemned here. Everything here passes away! It is not “your country.”
The Chinese character suggests: people come and go, you must remain loyal not to them, but to the "flag", the spiritual root!
If you accept that you are a traveler, a tourist or a guest, your situation can even be pleasant. But you must always know: this is not your world, and the people are strangers. You have no deeper destiny with them.
The situation usually doesn't last long.
A running adventure can be rewarding - but if you're not careful, you could lose your dignity.
The image is a running Fire on the Mountain: it spreads quickly. Meeting and parting: this is your life here. Do not see the temporary as permanent! Know: you are among strangers, and therefore be careful and tactful with people.
"Choose where and with whom you spend time. Plan for the short term!"

FU - RETURN (REBIRTH)
"Symbol: Footsteps return to the road.
"Return. Success."
It breaks in and penetrates without hindrance.
Comrades are coming. Flawless.
Fate turns, you return to your own path.
The seventh day of return.
It's advantageous if you have a destination!”
This is the winter solstice: in the deepest darkness, light is born. In fact, it returns, because everything revolves around, like the planets around the sun: everything returns - but not to the same place.
Spring returns, but it's not the same spring, and you're not the same, and no blade of grass or experience is the same!
What can return here? The joyful experience of existence, "I am!"
Everyone has had this experience for a single moment - if not at other times, then in childhood.
This is the inspiration. That there is no death! That I am an eternal spirit! Even those who are not aware of this, still experience enough at this time that some kind of hope flashes through their difficult years.
The trouble is starting to pass.
He is recovering.
And his faith, his zest for life, and sooner or later his strength will return.
The air is slowly filling with the scent of the encouraging Future.
New plans, new partners, new opportunities are coming.
You feel a strong urge to act, but wait! Enthusiasm is not yet Power - only the “seventh day”, the seventh “beat” will be the moment of Action.
The situation is similar to when a woman enters a blessed state. She knows that her destiny has changed radically - yet she still needs many months of peace, quiet, and tranquility until she herself and her fetus "mature" for motherhood.
Gather strength, process the memories of your past, and pay close attention, because where you are broken, you will become strong, where you have lost, you will become invincible.
The True Man does not run away from his past, no matter how dark it may have been, for his failures become fuel, his defeats become triumphs - his tragedies ripen him into greatness.
At the dawn of new times, we must process the past and strengthen ourselves for the future.
This requires calm.
It's hard to stay silent when you most want to burst out, but that's what you need right now: your budding faith needs to grow stronger."

TAI - BLOOMING (HARMONY)
"Symbol: Man swimming in the stream of Eternal Change. In harmony with the Tao.
Slowly everything is blossoming.
When the Creator and the Receiver are in harmony with each other, signs of blessing appear in all areas of life: abundance, peace, fulfillment, prosperity, achievement, and well-being.
A blessing is upon anyone when to achieve harmony By God's will.
In such cases, we do not fight the “drift”, but rather we blend in, swimming with it. As in a fast-moving river, the shore literally flies past us; with a single stroke of our arms, we cover a vast distance, because our strength is combined with the force of the river.
Harmony is when our actions are supported by the divine Power, the spiritual world - in fact, even the human world is not hostile at this time.
In nature, this is the time of flowering.
"Bloom. The small goes, the big comes."
Hello! Success!”
Today's man during the spring bloom, it becomes intoxicated, rejuvenated, awakened, vibrant He is overcome with joy and greed - even the blood rushes faster through his veins.
In ancient China, flowering signified prosperity and a peaceful state of tranquility .
When a person swims on the waves of the " Tao ", nothing happens because nothing is his: Everything belongs to the Tao, including him, his body, and his soul; success is not his, and even the flowers are the fruits of the Tao. they ripen.
"Kuo tai-ming an!" - so says the proverb that is thousands of years old.
“When there is prosperity in the country, the people are peaceful.”
Of course, "prosperity" here did not mean today's cancerous opulence, but the blossoming cherry trees. This is not the result of individual greed, but of the incessant flow of divine abundance.
Thai It means that you are now “with yourself.” Your unconscious with your consciousness.
The ego gradually softens, gives in, recedes. It does not demand, it does not crave, it lets finally get what you truly deserve. In your first joy you believe that they will be fulfilled "by themselves" your plans - it's easy to get lazy in this force field! - and therefore the features warn you of everything, that we also need to work on harmony!
Peace must be preserved - and since we are human and everything is impermanent, the state of harmony we have to create it again and again.
THE Tao You also have to "swim" in the direction of the current.
Your inner harmony is also reflected in your human relationships. The magic power of harmony The mere presence of a harmonious personality purifies, organizes, heals, and creates.
I feel that this man You don't want it for yourself!
More precisely: what he wants, he wants for me, for himself, for everyone at the same time; he wants what the Universal Spirit wants.
Maybe something new will start in your life. Maybe you will find new allies. Not only that You will encounter stimulating circumstances both inside and outside.

SENG - ASSISTING
"Image: A measure of fermented beverages. 1 seng is approximately 1 liter.
This is a time of growth, of plans coming true, of ideas being realized. Today, Seng also means “ascension,” “promotion.” It is a time when someone breaks out of obscurity and becomes known.
The ancient symbol has a deeper meaning. It shows how the essence slowly fills the measure: the essence evaporates drop by drop.
A few liters of brandy from a hundred kilos of fruit. Each of our lives has an essence. We don't just live - we live for something. Something has to be done, something has to be brought out of ourselves. It's hard to define what that is. The most important thing. A goal that is both external and internal at the same time! A life plan that I can only fulfill if I grow up to it: if I become who I am meant to be! This is what happens in the sign of Seng.
The lines show how a tree slowly emerges from the "inside of the earth" and begins to grow tall.
The fortune teller answers your question: success depends on your effort.
Day after day, hour after hour, cell after cell, one must work diligently. The “tree,” the wise say, “needs effort to put down roots in the dense soil and to grow tall.”
"Ascension, great achievement. See the Great Man. Do not worry (do not doubt). Southern campaign is blessed."
The superficial meaning of the omen is about a slow but unhindered rise. About recognition; you slowly “grow out of the ground”, and they finally see who you are and what was hidden in you. Every dream - for which a person works hard - comes true. This process is happening right now, or you are standing in front of it. Hard work here does not mean violence, but quite the opposite: you must always seek the direction of least resistance, like the fine capillaries of a tree or the branches blown by the wind: you must adapt, dodge, gently penetrate, grow into, slowly enrich, strengthen.
The deeper meaning of the omen hides the secret of Taoist yoga: the path to finding your own essence, your spiritual reality. For this, it is advisable to seek the help of the "Great Man", who knows this path well, because he has already walked it.
Follow your star - you will get closer to it every day. Your efforts will be rewarded. “Do not be afraid!” means: “Believe in yourself!” The result of persistent work is that you will get to know yourself better and realize that you are strong! You have the power to create your destiny!
When you start out, you are still worried because you don't have faith - but as life first confirms you, your worry is replaced by trust. This is the time when you can bring out the best in yourself. What lies within you can now be realized.
It's not ready... You're making it now. The omen says "don't worry!" because the process is slow!

TUN - RETREAT
"Symbol: A halting foot, a pig and a hand: someone is sacrificing a pig while retreating.
This somewhat amusing symbol for us says: not one step further! Retreat and sacrifice your various “earthly” ambitions: this will be the secret of your success.
"Retreat. Success."
Favorable prediction for the Little One.”
Whatever you asked, the answer is that you need to retreat and prepare for times when your situation will turn favorable. Retreat does not mean giving up, but a wise recognition of the signs of the times.
Russian General Kutuzov crushed the supposedly invincible Napoleon with his brilliant use of the “Tun” omen. It is a difficult tactic, few can execute it. First of all, you must realize that you have no chance of victory now. Time is not on your side: if you sow a seed, it will not sprout; you cannot sail out because of the low tide; the enemy is stronger and more powerful - it is not enough to stop, you must retreat. It is not enough to not collide - you must also avoid the possibility of collision! You must consciously and deliberately step back. The psychological secret of this is that you must extricate yourself from whatever you are involved in and break away from it.
Did you really want something? Don't want it!
Did you long for something? Were you afraid of something? Did you really need something? Tear these feelings away from you as if they didn't belong to you!
Be indifferent! Don't identify with your state of mind! As if you were looking at yourself from the outside and above - as if all this wasn't happening to you.
It takes two people to have a conflict, and if you don't "stand up" - there is no conflict. This is a martial arts trick, by the way. It can be so effective that, for example, new rules had to be introduced in wrestling, because it became clear that a weak competitor could prevent even a world champion from winning if he remained passive and constantly developed from every action.
There's nothing you can do about someone who "doesn't want to".
It's not enough if you don't argue, if you don't want to convince anyone, it's not enough if you don't clash on the outside - you have to retreat on the inside too!
Separate yourself from your affairs, extract your spiritual energy from them!
Free yourself from tension by not fighting evil... but avoiding it.
Don't fight the tide, even retreat when it comes! Don't even be there when it arrives.
The task is not to panic in this temporarily seemingly losing situation! The more "professionally" you retreat, the more strength you will gather to move forward.

FENG - ABUNDANCE
"Symbol: Cornucopia. A vessel filled to the brim with germinating seeds, fueled by fire from below.
The state of fulfillment, the culmination. Your day is noon, and what has matured is now unfolding. At the peak. “Do not be sad!” says the wise man. “Find your day in the center of your soul!” A person accompanies the unfolding of his desire with waiting joy, but when it is fulfilled, he still feels sadness. There are several reasons for this. First, he knows that after the peak, the road leads downhill. Second, he sees that reality is little compared to his dreams! In his dreams there was more, more beautiful, and more joyful. Now it is here - but not enough!
This sign represents the joy and sadness of realization.
Feng consists of the kuas of Fire and Thunder: life suddenly shines in a single flash: it is here, but it will soon disappear!
Every success is accompanied by a sense of transience and futility.
The wise man gives the following advice: do not keep what you have achieved to yourself. From here on, do not strive upwards - but expand your achievements, give them to others! Know that Development works in a spiral: a circle is now closing.
A hope of yours has come true, or is about to come true, a sprout of karma is ripe for the harvest - a new circle of life begins. Look around, take stock of everything you have not seen, because it was still hidden in time: and go on! But upwards! May every spiral circle be wider, more spiritual!
Don't continue as you have been: only the squirrel is spinning in its own wheel. Step up! Dream more! New plans, new companions, higher ideals!
The only way to close the old is to look at it with clear eyes, from your "center," and to take a sober account of your achievements. And then look further! Higher!
The wise man knows that the symphony of our life consists of many movements, and therefore he does not despair when one movement ends. In fact, if he has played it beautifully, he even enjoys it.
In today's world, this also includes the psychological problem of retirement.
People are not very good at starting a new life, a new circle of karma.
It's not a matter of age, it's a matter of alertness.
Only the path of the body is finite. The path of the spirit is infinite.
(All those who age wisely know this well.)

CHUNG FU - THE TRUTH OF THE CENTER
"Symbol: The "Bell" is a familiar symbol - the Still Center, and "Fu" is the foot of a bird brooding over its chick.
Whatever you asked, you know the answer! Not with your mind, not with your instincts - with your heart! Whatever you asked: deep down in your soul you know the truth!
"Me! Me! Mine!" - you lived in the false consciousness that the center of your being is this selfish "I". It is not so! The ego only usurps the place of the True Reality. With blinded selfishness and unparalleled cunning, it has attracted the spotlight, intruded on the place of the main character - while the True Reality silently watched, saw, and waited.
Where? In the immovable center of your being!
Now he speaks up and says: "If I manage your affairs, everything will be fine. They listen to me - not you! They trust me - not you! They fear you - not me! I see your mistakes very well, not only those of others. They feel this. That I do not want to subjugate them, but I seek the Truth, which is not only mine - theirs too! My secret is that I love them just as much as I love you!"
Chung also means heart. Love radiates from the heart. It is not emotional and selfish, but understanding and forgiving love. This has magical power. You understand others, you understand yourself, and you discover what Destiny's Plan is for you. What you do from your center is blessed. Even if your ego does not classify it as such.
When are you at your center? When you are calm. There is peace in the “heart” of a hurricane. Peace of the heart. This peace has a calming power. Especially in today's chaotic world. A single calm person can prevent a mass brawl. This attitude is symbolized by the wise with the dolphin.
“The Truth of the Center. Dolphin. Hail! It is desirable to cross the Great Water. Hail prophecy.”
Now you can see everything from the inside.
Free from pride, vanity, and selfishness.
You see things. You understand people. Even when they “don’t know what they’re doing.” (Often you don’t either!)
But now the spark of your awareness has flashed. Don't let it go out - nourish it! Now you can come into harmony with yourself and others. And finally you will not go about your business blindly, but with sight. Blindness means prejudice. This can fall from you now.
In the sign of Chung Fu, you can come into harmony not only with others, but also with the spiritual world. And you will feel it! Sometimes you get a shiver when you feel that you are receiving praise “from above”!
This clarity (Fu) is now in its infancy: like a new being in an egg, it is still hidden within you. The six traits speak of the easier and more difficult phases of “hatching.”
