Welcome to our interview regarding the closure of NONPLUS HOME BOUTIQUE With Sarolta Kiss, founder and owner of the NONPLUS brand.

What is the reason for closing Home Botique?
This is the result of a very personal and long process and I would like to share with you what is behind it:
The first reason is that the market situation and the economic environment are presenting us with increasing challenges – as they do everyone else. The transformation of shopping habits and the current economic environment have both encouraged us to constantly rethink our operations. Although change is inevitable - it is important to remain true to our internal goals and continue to focus on the values that are important to us. The online space has now captivated almost everyone and 95% of our purchases are made via the webshop. The truth is that we always knew that the moment would come when we would crave freedom, peace and quiet and a quieter life - that is why we already operated with a webshop focus years ago - and we feel that the moment has now come when we no longer have to stick to the old familiar frameworks and can let it go.
The second reason is that my personal immersion in the path of yoga in recent years has helped me to bravely face my own inner desires and let go of habits and patterns that no longer serve me. Rushing, constantly driving, doesn't really give me anything - and running a store requires a lot of energy. What I'm really looking for is silence and inner peace, to finally learn to live freely, truly guided by my heart. Yoga gave me exactly that: a path that helped me find my courage and my identity deeper. This reinforced the decision to let go of running the boutique and instead choose a much freer, more flexible life, one that is not limited by time or space - as a result of which I embrace who I am, where I am and what I desire.
The third reason is that our lease expires at the end of March and although our first impulse was to extend it now, but after observing the market situation and customer needs, as well as the need for independence that has been forming in us for years - we have come to the conclusion that the webshop and the existing sewing base are what we really need now - the reasonable decision that is in line with our inner desires. This decision provides us with greater and freer opportunities to continue offering the essence of NONPLUS - quality, unique and clean pieces - with the personal commitment and love that has always defined us.
The visual world of the NONPLUS brand that appears in stores has always been very important to me - but now I feel like I need to let go of that in order to experience the freedom I've always been looking for. Yoga has been a huge help on this journey. Holding my first yoga class was a huge step for me - I've always struggled with performing in front of others, and now that I've done it, I feel like a new chapter has begun. Change is always scary, especially when you've been running stores for 15 years, but the time has come - life is now giving me the opportunity to be more creative, to work from anywhere - and as this decision took shape, I started to soar.
The decision to close the store is not just a business move, but part of an internal transformation that has been taking shape in me/us for years. NONPLUS has always placed the emphasis on internal values instead of externals. We do not want to ride the roller coaster of fast-changing fashion, but we maintain our faith and commitment to true values and our own philosophy. As domestic designers, we know that the path is not easy - often full of obstacles, but inner desire, faith and a quiet, modest joyful existence are more important to us than anything else - and we want to convey this in the language of clothes. This decision is a new opportunity - a new direction, where we move forward by living ourselves clearly. We believe that on this path we can preserve our authenticity and self-identity - because the most important thing is not what happens outside, but what happens inside - in silence. Because true peace and balance are there.

What will happen to the yoga classes and events you started at Home Boutique in the fall?
This was a truly special process for me, because yoga gave me the inner freedom to dare to take steps towards the desires that have been inside me for a long time. Just as the closing of the boutique ends a stage, so does the joint journey we experienced together with the practitioners in the home boutique. This journey ends in this form at this location, this week - but "in order to start something new, the old must be closed - an old structure collapses to make room for the new" - I can already feel the new energies, the strength - and I am moving towards this. The quiet meditative flow - the yoga classes and meditations - will continue in other locations. I plan to hold classes on the Pest and Buda sides as well - you can currently follow them here - and a new dream is in the making, but it is still taking shape in me - when the time comes, it will be born. :)
I am very grateful to everyone who is with me in this process, because we gift each other with a very beautiful and deep silence on these occasions. It is wonderful to see the transformation in everyone by the end of the class - which I also experienced and which is why Himalayan yoga became a part of my life. Silence is truly wholeness itself. And if you move towards this - questions simply cease to exist. The goal cannot be anything else - and everything that supports this stays, and everything that does not goes.

Many people find the online world more impersonal and superficial than a real smile, conversation - physical connection. Won't you miss meeting customers - and won't customers miss the opportunity to try things on?
I sincerely believe that anyone who chooses NONPLUS clothing knows that it is not a mass product. We have been making each piece with love, attention and awareness since the beginning. There is no compromise in online shopping either: we offer the same quality and experience, with fast delivery, a simple return process and exchange, which can be easily tracked via an application. In today's fast-paced world, where everyone has to make quick decisions, convenient and rational solutions are important. Personal connection will not disappear completely either: at our sewing base, we plan to have the opportunity to meet / shop in person from time to time, in the form of open days. In addition, our loyal customers have had access to our loyalty program, periodic promotions and free shipping for years - we do everything we can to make the shopping experience complete and our products truly become long-term, lovable companions.

What are the further goals - what is the focus of the planning process in the future - will this change?
In the future, I will focus on experiencing harmony and balance in my daily life more deeply, because I feel that this helps me to create professionally in a sustainable way and to provide real value. Our products are created in the spirit of natural raw materials, domestic sewing and attention to others, so we convey not only style and quality, but also the work and love of the people behind them. NONPLUS gives its customers not only clothes, but also an experience that creates inner harmony and value. This spirit and philosophy of life permeates our entire operational and production process. We believe and hope that the NONPLUS family belongs together beyond space and time - we move forward together, we strengthen each other together.
